As previously stated, we typically follow DC Public Schools for inclement weather closures. However, due to ongoing weather-related conditions, we have decided that there will be no school on Thursday, January 29, 2026.
We will continue to monitor conditions and provide another update regarding our operating status for Friday, January 30, 2026.
There are Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) meal site locations available.
Limited meal service will be provided today, Wednesday, January 28, beginning at 4:00 p.m., at the following sites:

- Deanwood
- Emery
- Edgewood
- Ferebee-Hope Rec Center
- Ft Stanton

- Shepherd Park Community Center
Full meal service will resume for all sites tomorrow, Thursday, January 29:
