The interns are:
- Desteny Cole (Preschool Pathway)
- A'liya Titus (Infant/ Toddler Pathway)
- J'la Williams (Infant/Toddler Pathway)
This is their second internship this school year working with children. "I'm so excited about this project! It's one we have been working on since 2020 so it's a great feeling to finally have the interns officially start," said Ashley Jones, child development teacher.
She also recognized IDEA's partner, Educare, which runs the early learning center on the IDEA campus, for its assistance. The center offers high-quality early education for 80 infants and toddlers and prenatal classes for expecting parents. The center also serves as a great learning opportunity for IDEA's child development scholars.
