Seniors in business math have been putting their calculating skills to practical use with a remodeling project. First, scholars measured the area and perimeter of their classroom as if it were a bedroom, living room, or kitchen in a home that they wanted to upgrade. Then they looked the costs of paint, tile, flooring, appliances, and other fixtures required for a home remodel, and priced out what they would need and could afford based on a $20,000 budget. Scholars had the choice of presenting their remodel on a poster or as a movie or google presentation. Stay tuned to see what they created!
