This year the Gardening Club, sponsored through a partnership with Cultivate the City, will harvest summer crops, build a greenhouse, and set up our gardens for success this fall and winter. Some of the plants we will plant and include radishes, lettuce, kale, garlic, onions, strawberries, and more.  We will also maintain the aquaponic system in the science lab to grow basil and tilapia through the winter!

 

The Gardening Club also holds cooking demos with garden-grown produce, coordinates composting of cafeteria scraps, organizes trash and river cleanups, and plans other eco-friendly activities.
