September 2021 Scholars of the Month

12th Grade | Ragahleak Bartee

As a member of the Class of 2022, Ragahleak brings positive leadership to IDEA. One of the ways that he does this is by taking challenges and turning them into opportunities for growth. He shares his insights, listens, and adds to the subject at hand to make it better. He continues to lead by striving to do his best and continues to grow.

11th Grade | J’La Williams 

J'La is such a sweet young lady with a magnetic personality. She actively participates in class and does a nice job on her work. J'La can be counted on to be honest and responsible and is a pleasure to have in class. She knows the meaning of effort, responsibility, and integrity, which will take her far in life. Her passion for learning is contagious. She volunteers in the classroom and has achieved good grades due to her work ethic. J’La is also one of our Peer Group Leaders. This shows the level of responsibility J'La has developed in her life. J'La is a model student, and the 11th-grade teachers are proud to name her as our September Scholar of the Month.

10th Grade | Anton Haynie

Anton Haynie is an awesome scholar who is acing Physics with a solid A. Anton has made great efforts to ensure that he is present in class, his grades are good, and his behaviors are in line with the Guiding 5 Principles. He sets the example for his classmates and doesn’t disappoint himself nor those who care about him. Congratulations to our scholar of the month for September, the great ANTON HAYNIE!

9th Grade | Da’Iyah Crumlin

Da’Iyah Crumlin is an amazing scholar! She is always willing to participate in class, will share her responses, and has a great attitude. She understands the importance of keeping herself and others accountable. Da’Iyah is incredibly self-motivated and very responsible, which has earned her amazing grades and the praise of her teachers. She is a leader and role model for other scholars!
