Ms. Nadeau brings a wide range of skills and expertise to her position as Director of Partnerships, Marketing, and School Connections to IDEA. Her undergraduate work began at Saint Anselm College in New Hampshire where she studied Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and Advertising. She earned her B.A. while also playing basketball as she had earned a full scholarship to this competitive Division II school.
Her career has taken many paths to include working for the world-class organization, L.L. Bean in Freeport, Maine in their catalog department. Here she sharpened her skills in organization, communication, deadlines, and graphic design as L.L. Bean is famous for the number of catalogs they produce every year. Ms. Nadeau has worked in advertising agencies as a Production Manager, Account Executive, and Director of Marketing. When her family moved to Florida, she worked for some of the largest industry leaders in hospitality.
Although her path was creative and exciting, she felt a tug to bring her to education and coaching. Her father and mother were both lifelong educators and her father was a prominent coach and Athletic Director in Maine. She changed career and began her new adventure as a classroom teacher and coach when she was living on the Space Coast in Florida. Through some hard decisions, Ms. Nadeau moved north to Maryland and continued to teach and coach. She earned her Master's Degree in 2019 in Interscholastic Athletic Administration. She is proud of her accomplishments and perseverance to reach new heights. She has an amazing son and is grateful for the support of her family and friends as she grows into the next part of her professional career with IDEA.
