Meet Naomi Wanzer
Naomi Wanzer currently teaches English, but has a background in drama, business, and entrepreneurship at IDEA, where she started working in 2019. What she likes most about her role as a teacher is mentoring students and helping them prepare for a bright future. Working at IDEA is ideal for Mrs. Wanzer because the family-like environment is supportive and friendly. She also appreciates the learning environment for students, which gives them the tools and guidance they need to grow academically and personally.
Mrs. Wanzer has a Bachelor of Arts in mass communications and English.
She was born and raised in Prince George's County, where she lives now with her husband, two children, and a dog. She is an entrepreneur with a beauty business and a soy candle business. When she’s not teaching or marketing her businesses, Mrs. Wanzer enjoys reading and watching movies and TV shows.
