Enrollment Requirements for School Year 2019-2020
IDEA Public Charter School participates in My School DC, a common application for all DC public schools. The lottery for the 2019-20 school year is now open. Create a My School DC account and rank IDEA as your #1 choice!
Once your child has been accepted at IDEA (through MySchoolDC), you must submit the following documents in person to secure your child’s spot. The enrollment packet consists of the following documents. Please have all documents ready at the time of enrollment.

Additional Enrollment Requirements for Incoming Ninth Grade Students
Summer Bridge Program: This program is mandatory for all incoming ninth-grade students. The enrichment program is intended to help students make a smooth transition from middle school to high school both academically and socially. Program dates will be announced soon. Students who sign up for SYEP should choose IDEA PCS as their employer.
