IDEA Public Charter School participates in My School DC, a common application for all DC public schools. The lottery for the 2019-20 school year is now closed. Students have been matched with schools. If you still need to apply, you may be able to participate in the post-lottery application process.

Once your child has been accepted at IDEA (through MySchoolDC), you must submit the following documents in person to secure your child’s spot. Please have all documents ready at the time of enrollment.

All incoming 9th grade students will participate in a summer bridge program August 5-August 9, 2019 from 8:30am-1pm. Students who sign up for the Mayor Marion S. Barry Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) must choose IDEA as their employer to receive a stipend.
