Adam Gilbert believes in every student's potential for growth. Adam grew up in Long Island, New York where he developed a love for music and learned to play five instruments. This is Adam's third year teaching. He graduated from Brown University in 2016 where he earned his bachelors' degree in geophysics and mathematics. Adam previously worked in student support, facilitating restorative conferences at a public middle school in Providence, Rhode Island. He is currently participating in Urban Teachers, a teacher education and certification program, and is pursuing his master's degree in secondary mathematics and special education at Johns Hopkins University. Most important to Adam's philosophy is the ability to make connections through academics and build relationships.
