Four IDEA scholars--Eric Hayman, Tiffany Moody, Wayne Powell, and Edward Keys--will be spending their spring break preparing for their futures. They were chosen to participate in the DC3C Spring Break job readiness boot camp for DC charter school students.
Scholars will learn and practice critical job application skills, such as networking, professionalism, resume development, and interviewing. At the conclusion of the program, participants will meet with employers and have the opportunity to apply for real-world paid internships.
DC3C is a program of the DC Special Education Cooperative. The week-long program is supported by the DC Rehabilitation Services Administration, the HSC Foundation, and George Washington University.
